Works on the power generation unit from Renewable Energy Sources construction site in Jaworzno III Power Plant – Power Plant II are carried out simultaneously in three locations – the boiler room, agricultural biomass facilities and forest biomass facilities.

Till the end of December 2010, on the boiler room site the following works were completed: excavation for the boiler foundations, support of the excavation walls (Berliner walls), and lean concrete layer the insulation of the boiler foundations. The founding reinforcement works were also completed as well as the lower concrete plate of the boiler founding.

Assembly of the shuttering to place the concrete on the upper part of the founding was also completed; lean concrete was laid for the communication pylon by the boiler room. Works on the construction elements of the electrostatic precipitator are also advanced – the following were done: excavation of the ESP foundation and the switching station, reinforcement and placing the concrete in the ESP foundation.

In case of agricultural biomass facilities the below listed works were carried out: reinforcement and placing the concrete of the foundations of four silos, assembly of the tower crane to assemble the equipment. Excavations and layers of lean concrete were done for the main transfer point together with the staircase and excavations for the foundations for the footing of the scraper and belt conveyors, the main transfer point and a concrete wall was placed to the beam level above the technical room of solos no 1 and 2. Construction elements of the pipe conveyor and the conveyor belt facility were delivered on the construction site.

Foundation works were completed in case of forest biomass facilities – i.e. reinforcement and placing the concrete of all the three silos.
