Południowy Koncern Węglowy SA plans to launch sales of new environment friendly types of coal via its own sales network this year.
These new coal products are the results of cooperation between PKW SA and Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal from Zabrze and were elaborated on the basis of coal fuel produced by Janina Mining Plant.
The planned launching of the products under the working names of Mix Janina Pea Coal and Mix Janina fine coal results from the expectations of the market and a continuous demand for this type of products.
Although the renewed interest of consumers in coal fuels as the source of heat is mainly of the economic nature, the environmental issues are of no less importance.
The research carried out in recent years proved that a combination of specially selected types of coal of low content of sulphur and ashes combusted in modern retort furnaces contributes to a considerable decrease of emission of hazardous substances into atmosphere.
Products of PKW SA comply with stringent quality requirements with respect to technical analysis as well as emissions, which has been confirmed by environmental safety certificate issued by the Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal from Zabrze.
The activities currently undertaken by the coal company are the beginning of the plan to launch mass production of new types of coal, which gain more and more popularity among the users of boilers.
