Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Sub-faculty of Power Engineering Machines and Devices together with the Association for the Education of Power Engineering Machines and Devices Specialists held a conference in Cracow from 15 to 17 September.

The organizers invited the representatives of the science as well as practitioners from the Polish power industry to present the latest scientific achievements, new solutions in the theoretical issues, to exchange experiences and results of the experiment tests and to look into the matters concerning the implementation of the latest scientific achievements in the industry.

The subject-matter of the conference covered the following issues: fuels and energy sources, thermal power engineering and electrical power engineering, electrical power utilization, economic, ecological, social and legal aspects of electrical energy processing.

Among the guests there was also a representative of Południowy Koncern Energetyczny SA – the Management Board Chairman – Jan Kurp who gave a speech on ‘PKE Consolidation Experiences’.
