    Cutting-edge Flue Gas Denitrification Installation in Łaziska Power Plant

    A contract with the consortium STRABAG for the construction of a cutting-edge flue gas denitrification installation for the four power units 225/230 MW was signed on January 24, 2011 in Łaziska Power Plant.

      January 6 100-year-old light bulb, the so-called Edison bulb was lit in the Electricity Museum in Łaziska Górne. It was an occasion for Tauron Polska Energia Management Board and the representatives of the Supervisory Board to meet with media during the traditional annual New Year’s meeting.

      Works on the power generation unit from Renewable Energy Sources construction site in Jaworzno III Power Plant – Power Plant II are carried out simultaneously in three locations – the boiler room, agricultural biomass facilities and forest biomass facilities.

      Adam Graczyński Silesian Scholarship Fund scholarships were granted for the twentieth time. Zygmunt Łukaszczyk, Silesian Voivod, Chairman of the Fund Committee handed 30 scholarships to talented Silesian students who have difficult material situation.
