    Power Industry Day is drawing on. We will celebrate it traditionally on August 14, the power industry saint patron day – Saint Maksymilian Maria Kolbe. We celebrate this day at fetes, picnics, official ceremonies.

    • A Sharp Cut – Nitrogen Oxides Emission Reduction

      A contract for the retrofit of six boilers type OP – 650k operating in Jaworzno III Power Plant to meet the standards on lower nitrogen oxides emission was concluded on July 28, 2010 between Południowy Koncern Energetyczny SA and a consortium of companies Fortum Power and Heat Oy and Zakłady Remontowe Energetyki Katowice SA.

    • PKW Jubilee

      Południowy Koncern Węglowy SA, with its seat in Jaworzno, commenced its production operations on July 1, 2005 basing on the assets and staff of the companies belonging to Południowy Koncern Energetyczny SA Capital Group: Zakład Górniczo-Energetyczny Sobieski Jaworzno III (Sobieski Jaworzno III Mining and Power Company) and Zakład Górniczo-Energetyczny Janina (Janina Mining and Power Company).

    • Elvita Is Expanding

      Not only is Elvita’s operational area expanding on yearly basis but the number of the company divisions is also growing. The beginnings were rather modest when in 1998 Jaworzno III Power Plant isolated outpatient clinics from its structure.
