    We all surely remember the phrase – ‘October – the month of saving’. I am not going to advocate for this kind of appeals in particular when perceived as a campaign.

    • Visitors from the European Commission Directorate General for the Environment

      Poludniowy Koncern Energetyczny hosted guests from the European Commission Directorate General for the Environment – Jos Delbeke – Deputy-Director General in the EU Directorate general for the Environment, Marianne Wenning from the Department of Climate Change in the Directorate general, Piotr Tulej – head of the ‘Energy and Environment’ Department and Scott Brocket – both from the Directorate General for the Environment.

    • European Project Kick-off in PKE

      A kick-off meeting for the project ‘Development of high-efficiency fluidized-bed technology for the assurance of flexible oxy-combustion in power plant with CCS’ was held in PKE on September 3-4, 2009.

    • Volleyball Championships

      Eight men’s and two women’s teams participated in 23rd Power Industry Championships which were held in Jaworzno from 3rd to 6th September and organized by ‘Energetyk’ Sports Club.
