Policy of Quality, Environment and Work Safety

In accordance with the directions set in the Generation Area Strategy we shall endeavor to reach the leading position on the Polish electrical energy generation market by means of constructing and installing new capacity, reducing operational costs accompanied by meeting environmental requirements.

Our strategic objectives in respect of quality:

• Commencement of the construction of 2,775 MW of new generation capacity by 2012
• Improvement of operational efficiency and integration of electrical Energy generation assets.

Our strategic objectives in respect of environment:

• Reduction of pollutant emission charge by active emission allowance management at production increase
• Promoting clean generation Technologies development

Our objective in respect of work safety:

• Maintaining high level of workforce involvement by means of continuous improvement of working conditions inclusive of accidents at work prevention and occurrence of occupational diseases, eliminating or reducing health damaging conditions, identifying and eliminating potential probable accident situations.

The Company Management also obliges to:

• meet requirements and fulfill obligations resulting from the legal provisions in force, in particular concerning environment protection and work safety as well as all the obligations pursuant to the contracts signed by the company,
• prevent pollution, accidents At work, occupational diseases and potential probable accident situations,
• pursue information policy so as to ensure understanding and support for all undertakings of TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A. aiming at environment improvement,
• raise awareness, sense of responsibility and involvement of all the employees with regard to quality, environment and work safety,
• communicate the hereby Policy to all employees of TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A. and all persons working for TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A.,
• provide appropriate resources and reserves to enable proper execution of the present policy,
• continue improvement with regard to quality, environment and work safety.

Management Board of TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A. hereby declares to undertake all actions aiming at the execution of the present policy with active involvement of the company employees.
