Calendar of the most important events related to the implementation of management systems in the PKE SA power plants and heat power plants.

  • October 1997 – the research laboratory of the Prophylaxis and Technology Department of the Łaziska Power Plant was recognized as a 2nd category laboratory according to the PN-EN 45001 standard
  • 1999 - the beginning of implementation works concerning the environmental management standard, ISO 14001 in the Siersza Power Plant,
  • December 2000 – granting of the environmental certificate ISO 14001 to the Siersza Power Plant,
  • January 2001 - the granting of a certificate proving compliance of the Quality and Environmental Integrated Management System with ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 standards to the Jaworzno III Power Plant,
  • August 2001 – certification audit and the granting of a certificate for the Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Integrated Management System ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PN-N-18001 ) for the Łaziska Power Plant,
  • November 2001 – the obtaining of a certificate for the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System by ZEC Bielsko-Biała,
  • February 2002 – certification audit of the integrated management system after its extension for the health and safety management system in the Jaworzno Power Plant,
  • March 2002 - the taking of a decision concerning the implementation of an integrated quality, environmental, and health and safety system in the PKE SA Management Centre,
  • October 2002 – certification audit and the granting of a certificate for the Environmental Management System for the Łagisza Power Plant,
  • May 2003 - obtaining an honour in the 5th edition of the Silesian Quality Award by the Łaziska Power Plant,
  • October 2003 – renewed certification audit of the integrated management system in the Łaziska Power Plant combined with the certification of Social Corporate Responsibility according to the SA 8000 standard,
  • April 2004 – extension (certification audit) of the quality and environmental management system in ZEC Bielsko-Biała with the health and safety management system,
  • May 2004 – the granting of the Jaworzno III Power Plant with the Silesian Quality Award, awarded in the 6th edition of ranking by the Regional Chamber of Commerce,
  • June 2004 – the research laboratory of the Prophylaxis and Diagnostics Department of Łaziska Power Plant was granted a 2nd category according to the PN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 standard
  • June 2004 – the extension of the range of the management system and the granting of the Siersza Power Plant with a certificate for the Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and PN-N-18001),
  • May 2005 – decision on the extension of the range of the management system with quality and health and safety management at the Łagisza Power Plant,
  • November 2005 - accreditation audit at the chemical laboratories of the Jaworzno III and Łaziska Power Plants within the management system according to the PN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 standard,
  • December 2005 – the granting of the Jaworzno III Power Plant with the recommendation of the Association of Polish Electric Engineers SEP for the production and distribution of power and heat power
  • May 2006 – the granting of the Łaziska Power Plant with the Silesian Quality Award, awarded in the 8th edition of ranking by the Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • May 2006 – the granting of the Jaworzno III Power Plant with a Quality Certificate of the KNSE System (Complex Inspection of Exploitation by technical control method) awarded by the Energopomiar and ABB companies,
  • July 2006 – the granting of the Jaworzno III Power Plant with a certificate for flue dust intended for concrete according to the PN-EN 450-1:2005 standard by the Institute for Building Technology,
  • December 2006 – March 2007 – a complex certification audit in PKE S.A. (the certification was carried out in the power and heat power plants, the Management Centre and the Katowice Heat Power Plant)
