Blachownia Power Plant
Blachownia Power Plant has 165 MWe installed electrical capacity and 174 MWt thermal capacity. Electrical energy and heat is produced in 3 turbine sets. The electrical power is led out to the energy system through the substation of 110 kV.
The main consumers of the heat from Blachownia Power Plant are the neighbouring chemical firms. The changes, which were forced by the market economy – cost reduction and change of the management methods – have caused that the Blachownia Power Plant is able to be up to new challenges.
