TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A. is part of the TAURON Polska Energia SA holding; the company's share in the national electrical energy market is 14%, and 16% in the local heat production market.
The project was presented in the presence of the Lower House Vicemarshal – Stefan Niesiołowski, the Finance Minister – Krzysztof Żuk and the European Parliament member – Jerzy Buzek.
The guests received the poligeneration power plant project with utmost benevolence and profound interest. The importance of the project as far as the country power safety is concerned was emphasized. The day before the meeting (January 14th) there were talks and meetings held in the Ministry of Economy.
Once certain requirements have been met, the project is likely to become the EU flagship project.
