2005.12.23

In the annexe the companies agree also upon the rules of how prices of coal will be changing depending on inflation, prices of coal in the European market and prices of electrical energy sold by power plants.

Terms and conditions of the annexe are profitable for both parties, they provide a chance to keep a competitive position in the market.

PKE is the greatest consumer of power coal in the country. Its plants use more than 10 million tonnes of fuel a year. Purchases and transport of coal constitute more than 50 percent of costs in power companies.
