New regulations concerning granting and payment of early retirement pensions came into force in Poland in August. It became, therefore, necessary to introduce the appropriate amendments to the Labour Cost Reduction Package in PKE launched in April 2003. It was also decided that the scope of the document should be extended to include the so called periodic leaves. On November 25, the Management Board and trade unions signed the amended package.
