PKE - The Pillar of the Polish Economy

PKE was awarded the title of the Pillar of the Polish Economy in the Śląskie region. During the celebration gala that took place on September 15 in the National Theatre in Warsaw, CEO Jan Kurp received the award from Andrzej Nierychło, editor of the financial daily "Puls Biznesu."

40 million PLN subsidy for the ecological boiler in Jaworzno

On January 19, TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A. signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy (as an intermediary institution for the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2007- 2013) for the subsidy with regard to the construction of the biomass-fired boiler in Jaworzno III Power Plant – Power Plant II.
